Hybrids and electric cars are all the rage despite the high cost of the former and the limited range and speeds of the latter. An organization called 40MPG.org is promoting the positive features of diesel engines, such as lower carbon emissions, as an alternative to both. The availability of ultra-low sulfur fuel is another big advantage of diesel-powered vehicles: Bio-diesel fuel is as close as the waste cooking oil in every fast food restaurant.
