Bring your vehicle to AAA New York’s annual Car Care Fair for auto checks and advice from AAA automotive experts. This year’s event includes multi-point vehicle maintenance inspections at two locations:
• Sat., Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at AAA New York Headquarters, 1415 Kellum Place, Garden City, N.Y.
• Sat., Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the New Hartford Shopping Center, New Hartford, N.Y., (right off the Genesee St. entrance).
Technicians from AAA’s Approved Auto Repair (AAR) network will examine various parts of your car, including lights, windshield wipers and tires, and answer your car maintenance questions.
Also, senior drivers may register for the CarFit program at the Garden City event. In this 30-minute program, the Club’s traffic safety experts will identify ways of improving a vehicle’s safety. To register for this program, call the Traffic Safety Department at 516/873-2364. In addition, parents can have their child’s car seat installation checked by technicians from Nassau County Safe Kids. To schedule an appointment, call 516/873-2364.
